O-Z/Gedney Upgrades Mogul Conduit Body Line, Adds New Models & Features

June 29, 2005

O-Z/Gedney, one of the world’s leading suppliers of fittings for electrical conduit, announced today a major upgrade to its Mogul Conduit Body line. As part of the upgrade program, O-Z/Gedney mogul conduit bodies will now be manufactured from rugged malleable iron, rather than cast, and finished with corrosion-resistant epoxy powder coat as a standard feature. The epoxy powder coat will also be added to the aluminum mogul line. Customers can continue to order as an option Hot Dip Galvanized finish for the iron bodies. O-Z/Gedney is also adding a full line of replacement covers and gaskets for all its mogul conduit bodies, along with wire-pulling rollers to its 1-1/4 inch and larger LB, C and UB Series bodies. To round out the company’s extensive line-up, O-Z/Gedney will also be introducing LL and LR style conduit bodies. Designed for use with large and heavy conductors, O-Z/Gedney mogul style conduit bodies have long openings to provide access and wiring area. They are typically used to make bends in conduit runs, for pull outlets for stiff conductors, or to provide additional room for taps or splices.
