O-Z/Gedney today introduced its Type ECGJH, a hazardous location coupling leveraging a flexible stainless steel tubing and outer braid that effectively isolates electrical conduit systems from damaging vibrations caused by the operation of pumps, motors and other industrial equipment.
Now available in trade sizes ranging from 1/2-inch to 4-inches, the flexible coupling additionally eliminates the time-intensive, trail-and-error practice of machine bending EMT conduit around difficult corners and offsets. Its flexible design bends to make difficult conduit runs fast, safe and cost-efficient.
Suitable for ground path, the Type ECGJH comes supplied with two removable close nipples threaded into female end fittings for male or female thread applications.
O-Z/Gedney Type ECGJH couplings are UL Listed for use in Class I, II and III hazardous applications, such as petrochemical plants and refineries, and for wet locations including marinas.
